My monthly recommendation for February is Star Wars: Sanctuary by Lamar Giles. This novel takes place over the early rise of the Empire and follows the “Bad Batch” or Clone Force 99, a special ops group of Clone Troopers with unique abilities and characteristics resulting from mutations in their DNA. If you’re a fan of The Clone Wars and the sequel series, The Bad Batch, this is for you. For a little more context, this story takes place near the end of season 2 of The Bad Batch TV series.
